James has been with Valpak for over 16 years, with a history in leading a recycling services he is no stranger to the challenges of ‘problem’ materials. His career has evolved and he now sits as the Head of Voluntary Compliance, with an ear to the ground on emerging waste legislation spanning many industries, with a particular current focus on textiles. He has written many blogs, notably for the BRC and MRW. In 2019 he was part of the renowned expedition to asses the waste crisis’ impact on uninhabited Henderson Island in the Pacific.
