Sarah works to share the brand’s philosophy, tell the stories behind every garment as well as develop thought-leadership campaigns that aim to drive better practices in the apparel industry. With a background in both the natural sciences and communications, Sarah has long worked to bridge the gap between fundamental topics and engaging the public. A career spanning 10 years, has seen her work at world class institutions such as the Natural History Museum in London, as well as working internationally to launch brands into new markets. While the natural sciences might seem like an unlikely foundation for a career in apparel, Sarah believes that as industry outsiders, ASKET are able to see the industry through a different lens and that ultimately translates in the way the brand communicates. Beyond that, fashion may well be in Sarah’s DNA as her grandfather was a tailor, with his former atelier housed in what is now Dries Van Noten’s flagship store in Antwerp. Sarah prides herself on working to restore the value in the apparel industry as it was when her grandfather worked in the industry.
